If your equipment cannot be repaired due to the extent of the repair and age, Tend will provide a replacement that is equivalent to the original equipment in brand, size, features, functions, and capacity.
You can file a claim 30 days after your enrollment begins. Failures and breakdowns that occurred before or during this 30-day period are not covered.
To make it faster to reimburse your Tend Home claim, we will need the contact information of your service provider who must be qualified and licensed as required in your state. When filing your claim, the more documentation the better, including estimates, work orders, detailed diagnostics, photos, videos, and receipts.

So you don’t experience a lapse in coverage, your contract is eligible for automatic renewal. You will receive a renewal notice at least 30 days prior to your renewal date. There is nothing you need to do as your coverage will renew, and your coverage limits will automatically reset. If you decide to cancel, your coverage will end on your renewal/expiration date.
It’s simple. Before you call the service provider of your choice for a Tend Home claim, see our page with helpful claims information. Arrange for service. To file you claim after the work is complete, log into your online account. Follow the instructions, complete the information, upload all receipts, quotes, and work orders, acknowledge the terms, and click submit.

General exclusions include cosmetic or intentional damage, insect or animal infestations, repairs covered by manufacturer warranties, and damage covered by homeowners insurance. Coverage starts 30 days after the purchase of a plan.
If you cancel in the first 30 days of your contract, you will get a full refund. If you cancel after 30 days and you paid for a full year, you will receive a prorated refund, less any claims. If you cancel after 30 days and you paid monthly, your plan will terminate at the end of current payment cycle.
If there is a any change in your price, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance of your renewal.
If your covered equipment, system, device, or appliance cannot be repaired, but not due to any contracted exclusions, you will be eligible for reimbursement of a replacement with equivalent features, functions, capacity, size, and brand.
